RiverRock invests in Eliance, a leading provider of aerial emergency and firefighting services in Spain
RiverRock is delighted to announce that it has acquired a large minority stake in Eliance Holding (“Eliance”), a leading player and provider of aerial services in critical social areas such as firefighting, medical emergencies, search and rescue, and engineering and maintenance.
In partnership with the existing shareholders, GED Capital and Himilcon, with the management team led by CEO Juan Carlos Martínez Saiz, RiverRock will look to support Eliance in developing and accelerating its growth and reaching its potential critical mass in Spain and abroad.
Eliance is a leading player in the niche industry of aerial services. With approximately 409 employees, Eliance owns and operates a fleet of 72 aircraft dedicated to the provision of vital public mission services under availability-type and medium-term contracts with around 30 public authorities, mainly in Spain.
Thanks to its defensive nature, Eliance is well aligned with RiverRock’s super-core investment strategy while offering attractive yield potential. It also complements its existing highly resilient and cash-yielding portfolio of 24 Public Private Partnership projects located in France, Spain and the Netherlands, which is already delivering long-term, stable yield to our shareholders..
Launched in late 2018, RiverRock Brownfield Infrastructure Fund 1 (“RBIF1”) specialises in the investment and management of equity participations in small and medium-sized operational government-related infrastructure assets located in the Euro area. The fund targets long-term investments and partnerships with construction companies, strategic operators and public clients.
RiverRock has been advised by Banco Invest – IMAP Portugal (Financial Advisor) and Hogan Lovells Spain and Luxembourg (Legal and Tax).
Eliance and its existing shareholders have been advised by BekaFinance (Financial Advisor) and King & Wood Mallesons Spain (Legal).
